Webinar Series #3: StaTact - A tool for quick and cost-effective solutions to address pressing data needs

StaTact is a tool developed by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) in close collaboration with the United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD), which enables countries to address measurement gaps that impede the monitoring of national policies and harness the power of the 2030 Agenda to help solve problems tactically. The objective is to bring together data producers, holders and users and help them achieve their goals for the lowest cost within one year.

It provides an analytical framework and a multi-stakeholder methodology to enable a team of national experts from National Statistical Offices, concerned Ministries and other parts of the data community, including non-traditional data sources, to design a short-term action plan with a focus on addressing institutional impediments to data collection, production and utilization.

On this occasion, Elena Proden (UNITAR) and Gabriel Gamez (UNSD) presented this new tool. To watch the recording, click here
