Objectives
General objective
Prepare a regional guide that provides technical and strategic guidelines to strengthen data governance in national statistical systems.
Specific objectives
- Systematize regional and international good practices in data governance.
- Propose a conceptual framework tailored to the region.
- Develop practical recommendations for institutionalizing policies on open data, data protection and inter-agency collaboration.
- Provide national statistical offices with tools to conduct a self-assessment of data governance practices.
