Objectives

Aims to strengthen national statistical offices in the region by implementing and monitoring compliance with the Code of good practice in statistics for Latin America and the Caribbean.

Specifics

Exchange best practices in the implementation of the Code of Good Practice in Statistics in Latin America and the Caribbean
Monitor and assess compliance with the principles of the Code of Good Practice in Statistics in Latin America and the Caribbean
Promote statistical planning using the Code of Good Practice in Statistics in Latin America and the Caribbean, with a focus on results management
Propose a formal structure in the framework of the Statistical Conference of the Americas of ECLAC for the implementation of the Code of Good Practice in Statistics in Latin America and the Caribbean
