This event is part of the activities of the Community of Practice for the Measurement of the Care Society of the KTN, which is led by the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI) of Mexico and the Division of Gender Affairs ( DAG) of ECLAC, through which it seeks to provide a space for the exchange of experiences, knowledge and publications related to the measurement of care, in order to contribute to the strengthening of the production of statistical data for the construction of societies of the care in Latin America and the Caribbean.
On this occasion, the objective is to share the methodological changes regarding the set of questions and modules related to care in the National Time Use Survey in Chile, and the experience of the INE in the pilot test and the official collection of information; as well as learn about the development of the Local Social Management system, within the framework of the design of the SNC in Chile, with emphasis on the design of tools in the information system, and measurement needs for the implementation process in the territories.
