Quality assessment tool for administrative records
a) General objective
Draft recommendations on the management of administrative records for use in the production of official statistics, with an emphasis on quality management and confidentiality, from the perspective of both sources and use, based on the consolidation of an assessment tool for the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean.
b) Specific objectives
- Identify the quality management processes for administrative records in Latin American and Caribbean countries.
- Build a quality assessment tool for administrative records based on systematization of results.
- Identify good practices at the regional level regarding quality management of integration of administrative records and traditional statistical operations such as surveys and censuses.
- Disseminate the outcomes of application of the tool in member countries.
