Webinar on Using Mobile Phone Data for Transportation and Commuting Statistics

This webinar is organized by the United Nations Regional Hub for Big Data in Brazil, with the collaboration of the INE of Chile and the Statistics Division of ECLAC. It is part of a cycle of videoconferences that aims to highlight the potential of using mobile phone data for the production of official statistics, and address the challenges for its implementation.

On this occasion, the central topic is Transportation and Commuting Statistics. We will be joined by two speakers: one representing the UNCEBD Mobile Phone Data Task Team and the other representing the Federal Statistical Office of Germany.
